The Rosalie's Retreat Shack (Snowmass)
The "Rosalie's Retreat" shack is located on Snowmass. It is constructed of downed timbers and can easily accommodate 4-5 people. Photos of it are below; click on them to enlarge them. This shack has been known by three different names over the years: "Rosalie's Retreat," "Remi's Hut," and "The White Powder Shack" ("built by Dean and Steve") There used to be signs in the shack, but they have all been taken down, and as of April 2018, there are no signs there at all.
During the 2018-19 ski season the Ski Patrol roped the run in such a way that it is very difficult to get to this shack without crossing the rope.
