Sanctuaries in the Snow

The Larry Price Family Plaque (Snowmass)

The Larry Price Family Plaque was located near the view platform on Gunner's View at Snowmass.  It was put up sometime in February 2011 and was there for only three weeks or so before someone removed it.  The metal plaque was attached to a tree and contained a poem, that read as follows:

On this holy and sacred ground
Larry Price and his family sat around.
It was a family tradition you see,
to meet right here at half past three.
To grill, to drink and tell some jokes,
and maybe meet some interesting folks.
So raise your glass and look on high,
cause ski patrol will soon be by.
