The Deni Clark Carrick Plaque and Bench (Snowmass)

The Deni Clark Carrick plaque and bench is located near the Adams' Avenue run on Snowmass.  The brass plaque is mounted on the back of a wooden bench and states

"Deni Clark Carrick

1954--1995

Her Spirit Lives in the Mountains" 

This obituary for her was reported in the Colorado College Bulletin, summer 1996 issue: "Denise Clark Carrick '76, Woody Creek, Colo., Dec. 3, in an accident. She worked with the Snowmass Ski Patrol and was preparing to take her state nursing exams." See: https://www.coloradocollege.edu/iapps/Bulletin/summer96/Obit.html   Deni and Harry's run at Snowmass is named after her; it is located in the Cirque cliffs below Rock Island. She grew up in Woody Creek, Colorado, and graduated from Aspen High School in 1972.
